What a great site. I would love to have one for my son. I am so glad you share so much information that could be helpful to many others.
I really liked reading what worked and what did not work for you.

    You are a strong family.
Thanks for giving me your site.

    Sincerely,
    Jamie Swenson

Ha, my son accidently called your phone today. Tucker answered. I happen to ask him how mom was doing….have those babies yet (just joking). He said yeah twins. I said ha your kidding. What are their names. He did not know. I said, “see, I got you.” and hung up. Low and behold I get the email about the twins. Sorry Tucker. ha. CONGRATS! What a miracle. What a wonderful story to add to your life. luv lots

    Alaina,
Congrats!! I’m so happy for you and your family! I hope that you can make it home soon. I have some car seats for you if you think that they will work. I’m not sure what the best # to reach you is at so you can give me a call when you have a chance!

    Congrats again!

Hi Alaina – So glad to see the twins are doing so well. We should get together for coffee/play date one of these days :>
This week we discovered that Katie is allergic to sulfa. She is still getting over the effects of that, most obvious being a rash all over! Poor kiddo.
Anyway, I hope life is treating you well.

Hi, someone linked to your website in a forum i’m on for Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (which is linked with infantile spasms, intractible epilepsy, among other issues in many other organs). I was curious how your daughter is doing now, and how the alternative treatments have been working for you. Our daughter is 3 years old, we’ve done nearly every Rx drug, as well as many alternative treatments along the way, and just a generally “natural” lifestyle along the way (she was born at home, is still breastfed, regularly wore her and sometimes still do, she cosleeps still about half the time, etc. we’ve tried to keep her on a low carb diet, she is gluten free and we only recently introduced some dairy, she takes a strong multivitamin, L Carnosine, a turmeric derivative (curcurmin), we cook with coconut oil, i’m about to start her on cod liver oil, and she has had cranio sacral therapy, which seemed to be the most effective for her seizures. However she is doing better but is not seizure free and her behavior is starting to get worse (she does not have autism, though she’s at high risk for it with her having TSC). Someone mentioned your success with goji berries; wondering if it is still helping. Currently we are about to start down the brain surgery road, but still checking out as many alternative treatments as possible. (oh we also do essential oils and herbs).
